Untested Mosquito Trap

A friend posted this to her FB.  I have not tried it yet, but with the mosquitoes we get around here - I'm going to.  I just need to scrounge a 2-liter bottle. 

Ants

Living in Maine seems to come with ant problems.  One day I'll take a picture of our lawn.  I won't let people go barefoot, because the front is literally wall-to-wall small ant hills.  

First Tomato

My poor Boxer has been sick, so I have been busy with him.   Nothing has gotten done - still.  *sigh*

Sun and Pots

When I put the tomato plants out back, the area I put them in was getting 6-8 hours of sun.  Unfortunately, I forgot that we rotate fairly quickly in our state.  The plants are now getting only 3 hours of sun.  I need to move them to the middle of the yard.

The problem?  One of the terra cotta pots is cracked down one side.  I'm afraid it will split when I move the pot.

The solution?  Duct tape, of course.
